This came during his speech at the 56th ordinary session of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo today, Wednesday, chaired by Abdikadir Qasim Mohamud, Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

He pointed out that the session is being held in light of complex and unprecedented regional and international challenges, characterized by escalating tensions and hotbeds of conflicts, and the accompanying geopolitical, security, economic and living repercussions that affect the security and stability of Arab peoples.
He explained that media is no longer just a means of conveying events, but has become an influential element in shaping awareness and identity, which requires developing Arab media work and raising its efficiency and capabilities to face contemporary challenges.
